|Review|: Conatural Intense Growth Hair Oil

Hi Beauties!

I don't need a weather forecast to tell me that Monsoons are here. I have my own indicator, my hair, which tell me the Monsoon is here and they are going to start shedding now. Monsoon is the ultimate hair fall season for me. There is nothing in the world that can stop my hair from falling. As much as the constant rains depress me, hair fall is an additional element to add to the depression. I have been reading rave reviews about Conatural's products and the sleek packaging was tempting enough to lure me. So I gave try to their intense growth hair oil. Does the product live up to its hype and delivers what it says? Read my review to find out more about this product...

Conatural Intense growth hair oil
 About Conatural:

Conatural is where they develop new skin and hair care recipes choosing plant botanicals, natural and organic ingredients over synthetic alternatives. They are a pioneer in Pakistan to use ingredients that are natural, organic (where possible), and wild crafted, and pure therapeutic grade essentials oils in their products. The results of their products compete (and usually beat) substitute chemical based products in the long run.

Their product ideology is a mix of exotic essences, Ayurvedic and modern aromatherapy. Due to the natural origin of their products, color and consistency may vary from batch to batch. This does not affect the quality of the product. Keeping in mind the sensitive nature of  natural products, the ingredients have been married up carefully to the packaging, ensuring that customers get the most out of their products. You will notice that their products have a very short shelf life which emphasizes their focus on “freshness” – this is absolutely critical to maintain beautiful skin and hair.

Conatural products are and will always be FREE from:
  • Parabens (usually labeled as Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben)
  • Phthalates (usually labeled as Dibutyl pthalate, DEHP (Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate), or DEP (Diethyl phthalate)
  • Triclosan
  • Artificial Musks
  • Petroleum Jelly
  • Sodium Laureth & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)
  • Silicone Chemicals
  • Paraphenylenediamine (PPD), also known as Coal Tar Derived Colours

Conatural Intense growth hair oil
 Packaging:

Conatural intense growth hair oil comes in a sleek plastic bottle with 50 ml oil. It has a pump spray which makes it all the more attractive to me because that means no accidental spillage. You have serious control over the amount of oil you require. Initially when I purchased it, only 50 ml packaging was available but now they have increased the size to 100 ml and also reduced the price., which means double the product in even less price. Good for us!

 Texture & consistency:

The texture of the oil is real smooth and clear. Consistency wise, it is not runny at all. Though its liquid, still its a bit dense and does not run off. I like it for the consistency too. In the bottle the color of the oil appears to be slightly yellowish but its hardly noticeable once its poured out. The color appears to be transparent with non existent yellow tint.

My Experience:

The first thing you would notice upon using is the strong fragrance of the oil. Its strong and I simply adore it. Its way better than the fragrances added in other oils. The smell adds an extra oomph to the oil and makes the application all the more fun. The good thing is, its not any artificial fragrance, its the smell of organic lavender essential oil. I read somewhere over the internet, lavender oil is good for preserving the natural hair color. If thats really true, then its another plus. However if you are not into scented products then this oil may not be the thing for you. I have read a lot of testimonials on this product and honestly its the testimonials that led me to buy it. I wouldn't go as far to claim that I witnessed results with the very first use, however I have experienced improvement in my hair and growth over several uses. After using 4 to 5 times I could claim reduction in hair loss, improvement in the texture of my hair, volume and length. Length isn't something you will miraculously achieve but yeah it is something you will notice gradually with time. My hair fall has reduced considerably and my hair are still holding the fort against Monsoon way better than before. Also I have noticed it provides volume and shine to the hair after wash.

The best part of the oil is, its very easy to rinse. Any shampoo is able to rinse it off and leave the hair clean with no residue or greasy feeling on the scalp. Also the oil feels real light when applied and does not transfer to bed sheets upon contact with head.

Usage Instructions:

Shake well before use. Gently massage into scalp and ends of hair. Then work on massaging into main length of hair. Allow oil to work for a minimum of thirty minutes. Cleanse post treatment with mild shampoo. For best results, use Intense Luster Hair Oil on hair and ends with this product. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with warm water.

I have not used it in combination with intense luster oil. I suppose the results and performance would have been much better if I had used it along with intense luster oil. The oil however has failed to do anything about my split ends though.

Pros:

  • Reduces hair fall
  • Accelerates growth
  • Brings shine and volume
  • Light on hair and scalp
  • Easy to rinse
Cons:
  • Failure for split ends
  • Price tag
Rating:

              4.5/5

Grade:

              A

Price:

When I purchased it, the 50 ml bottle was priced at Rs. 1200 I guess but now they have reduced the price to Rs. 1800 and also doubled the quantity to 100 ml.

Availability:

Conatural products are available at selective salons. The locations of the retail outlets can be found at their website. Also you can order online from their website by clicking on the following link

My Wishlist:

Conatural has added new products to their range and my current wishlist includes trying out the new honey and oatmeal cleansing bar and repair shampoo and conditioner.

Verdict:

Since the pros definitely outweigh the cons, I recommend opting for this oil.

Hope you liked my detailed review on the intense growth hair oil by Conatural. If you have been waiting on trying it considering the price tag, then this review might help you decide. The performance over rules the price. I say go ahead and give it a try!
