|Empties|: January 2023

Empties - January 2023

Here is to keeping the tradition alive and continuing with posting my Empties progress that has helped me spend less and utilize my existing stash of products. Sharing with you my first Empties post for the year of 2023. Here is what I finished in the month of January.

1. Rouge Beauty Nail Polish removing pads

These nail polish removing pads were a game changer in the Pakistani Beauty blogosphere some years back. We did not have many nail polish removing options back then, other than the traditional cotton balls with a remover bottle. There were no nail polish removing patches, no dip bottles, nothing! In times like those, these nail removing wipes were quite an innovation. I am not entirely sure but I believe them to be the manifestation of Beauty Hooked. I bought these from Al Fatah. They are quite convenient to use. They take about the same time as the traditional method but its efficient in the sense that you place the wipe on your nails, give it around 10 to 15 seconds and then start wiping off. It sort of reduces the hard work of rubbing.

2. Conatural organic aloe Vera

I used the aloe Vera for my facials. 3 minutes of massaging aloe on to my skin for a nice clean shine. I did not find it any different from other local brands except that this one is pretty steep in price compared to others.

3. Clean & Clear deep cleansing lotion

A cleansing lotion or an astringent - a staple in my beauty routine. I have been using it for years now. Maybe over a decade and a half. It cleanses not only my skin but my soul too. That is the effect I feel after its usage.

4. Strictly Professional moisturizer for combination skin

This moisturizer came in a facial set I bought years back. The set as a whole used to serve as my quick home facial. The moisturizer was quite effective.

5. Freedom Professional  London pro studio glycolic radiance toner

This product was introduced right after Pixi launched its glow toner. Its considered to be a dupe for pixi with an affordable price tag. The product claims to add glow to the skin. With constant use, the glow is claimed to last. I really enjoyed using this product since it provided me the satisfaction of having a clean skin after cleansing my face.

6. Physiogel daily defence replenishing night cream

All skin care enthusiasts are familiar with Physiogel brand. Its one of a kind global brand that addresses skin problems at a wide spectrum. I have experienced my skin improving by the use of physigel products in a matter of 2 weeks. Used properly, along with other physiogel products, the replenishing cream does wonders for the skin.

7. Bioderma White objective Intense night care lightening serum

I used the fluid till its last drop but I don't really have a visible improvement to add to its credit. I did not feel much of a difference on my skin after using it.

8. Loreal Elvive keratin straight conditioner

The recent loreal hair conditioners are a game changer. I find them to be quite effective. Like this keratin one helped me tame my frizz and my hair were easier to comb.

9. Huda Beauty Lashes in Giselle

These have been my favorite pair of lashes for a long time. I have used them enough to discard them now since their band and individual lashes have given up on me.

10. Nose Pore strip

I opt for nose pore strips once a month at least. I don't recall which one is this but to name a few I absolutely adore are - Purederm, True Skin and Beauty Formulas.

Thats a wind up for the monthly empties post. If you have used any of the products above, share your feedback. I would love to hear about your experiences. Stay healthy and beautiful. xoxo!!!
