Texture:
The balm has a emollient like texture and is quite thick. It also contains micro exfoliants which are felt upon application. I find the exfoliants to be slightly harsh. The product has a citrus like mild fragrance which is refreshing.

My Experience:
Ever since I have been introduced to the double cleanse method, I am hooked. And the person who introduced me to this method is the very owner of this brand - Charm Natural. I was having frequent break outs despite having a decent skin care routine. When Rabya mentioned about the double cleanse, I started off right away and it greatly helped in healing my skin and curb the break outs.
Coming to my Experience with the balm to milk cleanser, I would prefer their Lavender cleansing oil any day over the balm. Even though this balm to cleanser is a great product, however my preference lies more towards the oils as I find them convenient to use.
The balm has a thick emollient like consistency and has a exfoliant like texture. It has exfoliating particles which scrub the skin very well, removing all makeup and dirt. The exfoliants also help in removing dead skin due to abrasion. I find the exfoliants to be slightly harsh in this product and add to it the effort of converting the balm into milk like consistency, it takes time. The brand suggests using a dime sized product but I feel one needs more than a dime as the balm doesnt turn into liquid consistency that easily and requires more product to cover the entire face. Despite all that, the cleanser works very well in removing dirt, makeup, grime and dead skin. It has a greasy texture like any other balm which requires a good removal with gentle cloth. It moisturizes and hydrates the skin and you can easily skip applying moisturizer afterwards.
I alter between the lavender cleansing oil and this citrus balm. I recommend using it twice a week due to presence of exfoliants which might abrase the skin with regular use.

Grade:

Price:
Rs. 2,000
Given the quantity of the product, the product tends to lie a bit on the higher side given the alternatives available in the market. However I have found Charm Natural's products to be very effective and result oriented as compared to several other local brands. There is currently a sale going on and the product is available for a steal price of Rs. 1,250.
Availability:
Charm Natural's products can be purchased from their website and are also available at select Fazal Din outlets.
Verdict:
I would classify this balm to milk cleanser as an above average cleanser cum exfoliant. If you're intrigued by the concept of a balm-to-milk cleanser and the allure of natural ingredients, Charm Natural's Balm-to-Milk Cleanser might be worth a try.
Hope you liked the review. Stay healthy and beautiful. xoxo!!!
