As important as face care is, equally important is foot care. After all its our feet that bear most of the brunt in the form of our body weight, dust and also are the most neglected in case of many people. Not to toot my own horn, but ever since I can recall, I have been in love with my feet. Forgetting to bring socks along for my gym session has negatively impacted my feet. Not only have they cracked but also hurt and have gone real dry. Its after this neglect I realized and started looking for good foot creams as the regular ones were not doing any good. Today, I am reviewing Eveline's Foot Therapy 8 in 1 deodorant antiperspirant cream.

Today I bring you the unboxing of January's Boxycharm. My laziness knows no bounds and I am actually feeling shame to be posting this in the last month of this year. However, I can not say it enough times that I am obsessed with Boxycharm. Its a super value for money subscription box for a makeup junkie like me. I am so psyched to be subscribed to these.

Its pleasantly over whelming to see so many local brands popping up in cosmetics and skin care. Its great to have finally gotten the much needed awareness that was long over due. I am pretty sure Pakistanis add a huge chunk of income to International cosmetics and skin care brands. Its amazing that some of us have finally tapped into this niche and coming up with products tailored to our skins. Once such brand that launched this year is Entice Cosmetics. I tried their 24k gold moisture potion and here is my detailed review on it.

Time to unveil February's boxy charm box. The theme for this month was Galaxy Glow. I really don't understand how the themes match with the products but I'll let it slide as I am always concerned only with products I get each month rather than the themes.

Here is me opting for another subscription service - Allure Beauty Box. I am not a big fan of getting deluxe sized products but when it comes to trying out new brands, sample/deluxe sizes are the safest bet. Allure beauty box is a combination of makeup and skin care products that you receive every month. Most of the items are deluxe with 1 to 2 full sized items. I opted for the February one, and here is my initial review.

Luscious Glam Bag is another Beauty subscription service I have completely been hooked onto for a year now. This has to be one of the best value for money beauty sub if I talk about Pakistan only. None of the conversion cost, weight, and individual price and shipping of items crap shoved down your throats. I also happen to find their theme very meaningful. I have reviewed them earlier as well, you can read the previous reviews by clicking onto 'Luscious Glam Bag' label at the end of the post. Coming back to the point, February Glam bag was entirely Urban decay focused and is one of my favorite bags so far.

I am on a roll and will shamelessly be posting all pending subscription services review that I should have posted way long back. Like this one, which happens to be almost a year old. In my defence, it takes sub boxes time to reach your door step since no service mails directly to Pakistan and we have to rely on intermediaries for buying. This process sometimes takes 2 months and also at times, there are left over boxes or cancelled orders posted months later. Today I bring you Ipsy Glam Bag for the month of December 2017. I bought it months later and just for the Pixi product since I am so taken with them but rarely am able to get my hands on them.  

[September, 2018]: Germany’s No. 1 makeup brand Artdeco arranged Master Makeup classes in Karachi, Lahore & Islamabad. The classes were conducted by Macedonio Bazerra, Global Head Trainer for Artdeco. With great experience as makeup artist in London, Germany and around the world, Macedonio Bezerra taught great makeup techniques to the participants in his unique & professional way.

Summers are unthinkable without a quality face cleanser. We all know how harsh and cruel our Summers are. On top of that we now get 2 full months of humid weather. I prefer to keep good 2 to 3 face cleansers at my disposal depending upon the condition of my skin which has a mood of its own as I have a combination skin type. My today's review is on Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Daily foaming cleanser. Lets read further to find out how it fared. 

Let me tell you, tracing subscription boxes is hard in Pakistan, especially when you have no means of direct shipment. I started off my subscription from November box, then found September one. Now I had to get the October one as well to soothe my OCD that there is no gap between the months. Time to review Pakistan's very own, first, halal makeup brand - Masarrat Misbah. I have been using their cosmetics for over 2 years now and I must say, a lot of effort has been put in by Masarrat Misbah herself and her team to formulate a brand designed for Asian/desi skin tones. Her experience of over 35 years in the field shows in her cosmetics. The product I am reviewing today is their much raved Silk Pressed powder. So let's begin. 

Have you ever heard about Period comfort boxes or period subscription boxes? If no, then let me enlighten you. We all know how hard our "those days" can be and life isn't peachy with that PMS monster haunting your being. This is where a period subscription box steps in. The purpose of these boxes is to pamper yourself during your special days. As much as the concept may sound a little foreign, its actually nice. "There is no therapy like a retail therapy", they don't say it for no reason. Shopping really makes me feel better million times and lifts my spirit. So investing in a period box for your special days works the same way.

I previously had this business idea in my head of launching a period subscription service in Pakistan and I extensively researched on it as well. So much that I had finalized the concept, themes and products even. But somehow it never materialized due to my own laziness. Maybe sometime in the future? Who knows. I am very picky when it comes to perfumes. Im not much into sweet light fragrances. Im more of a wooden musk and hard fragrance kind of a person. Iv been watching and witnessing Olor's evolution and have been using their deodorants religiously for a time now. One of the dilemmas of digitization is, some products get way too much hype and some just really don't. My current obsession is Boxycharm subscription. I happen to find it, the best value for money. It lets me try the best of the best brands and new products that too in full size. I have been trying to collect as many boxes as possible. Although I officially subscribed to Boxycharm in November 2017 but somehow I managed to get my hands on September and October boxes as well. Since the September box has been bought from a Facebook store who I haven't dealt with in the past, here is how my experience went.

If you are a drugstore freak,  makeup enthusiast and a hoarder like me, then you must be aware that new trend edition by Essence has hit the stores. I saw them at Raja Sahib outlet and did not waste a single moment to get my fill. These limited edition items come in a limited quantity and I do not want to repeat what happened with their Miami roller ball blush (it was a bestseller and an instant sold out product). Anyways, these are my latest purchases from the new "Glitter in the air" trend edition.

Well, wow is all I can say. This is a pretty old post I have dug out from my drafts folder on Blogger and I still wish to post it since the product is still available in the market and i have most of the review already jotted down.

I am a freak when it comes to eye brow products mainly due to my non existent brows and my inferiority complex associated with it. I tend to grab any eye brow product which appeals to me or a sales person is successful at throwing in my direction. I purchased this Essence eye brow designer under the same situation.

A month back I was contacted by PR team of Tosave.com to do a review for their website. For this purpose I was awarded a credit of $15 to buy any product(s) of my liking. I chose a tote bag and a set of rings for review purposes. This was the first time I heard of this e-commerce page and it was my first experience shopping from them. Below is my candid opinion based on my experience.

KARACHI: The Awards office of the LUX Style Awards released nominations in eighteen Entertainment categories on Friday. 

The nominees for categories in Film, Music, and Television are listed below. Twelve of these will be open for Viewer's Choice voting. Voting for the 10 fashion categories is still to be announced.

All nominations were shortlisted to five per category. The nominee process was overseen by audit company PriceWaterhouseCooper. Voting for the Viewer's Choice categories will be on www.luxstyle.pk/lsa2018/nominees/vote-now/

The annual LUX Style Awards for excellence in Fashion, Film, Music, and Television will be held next month and can be seen on national television.
