You might have seen this little blue box available at most departmental stores nation wide. Although pimple zapping is an old concept and we have seen and used them in different forms, like zapping pens, squeeze tubes, patches are relatively a new thing in Pakistan. Most of us won't even be comfortable with the idea of pasting a patch on our face making the pimple treatment all the more obvious rather than projecting, oh, I don't care, it will go away in its due time. I was going through the side effects of using Minoxidil for my hair on doctor's recommendation and got acne for the first time ever on my face. There was a time when I used to skip primer application. But now it has become a religious ritual for me every time while doing my makeup. I have quite a collection of primers, ranging from drugstore to high end. Beautify by Amna is a Pakistani brand. They stepped into the market some 2 years back and have been going strong. Reason for this is, their commitment and dedication towards delivery quality products which perform at high standards. I am all in support of local brands. Infact, I believe that we need more of our own brands. Who would understand our needs better than our own people. I am reviewing their porfade foundation primer today. I hopped on to the Kylie bandwagon when they were launched mainly due to the hype surrounding against the brand. Honestly my expectations were not high and I took it as a celebrity fan following hype more than actual product performance. But jeez, was I wrong or what? The product actually does perform contrary to the hate surrounding the Kardashians and Jenners. Anyhow here is my review on Kylie's famous matte lip kit.
