I am an old customer of 4U2 cosmetics brand. Its a Thailand based color cosmetic brand which was available in Pakistan in 2011 I believe. It was discontinued a few years back I guess as I could not spot a single item in stores. It has recently popped up again, not sure if its being managed by the same management or some other. Their lipstick was a random purchase as the packaging looked very appealing. Ignore the lighting in pictures, I shot these on my work desk, hence the lighting isn't proper.

This time I tried a not so famous, more of an Afro brand by the name of Hawaiian Silky. I wasn't able to find much information about the product on internet, apart from the fact that its majorly sold on Amazon and mostly the reviews were from people having Afro hair texture.

Both these brands are known for their eco friendly and chemical free skin care products. When I first found out about Mana Beauty & Spirit, my first impression was - "Oh, our very own Lush". Two years into using their products, I have no such impression left. Mana has their own brand vision and they are surely not copying Lush. Yes, the theme does look along the lines of Lush but it has its own league. I have used quite a lot of products from their range and today I shall be reviewing their body scrub.

It brings me some relief to know that I am not the only one who has frizzy, dry hair that look like a bird's nest or match the image of wreckage after a C4 blast. Frizzy hair are a pain to me. It has become even worse since last year when I had a tremendous hair fall and now have baby hair growing. Bleaching proved to be cherry on top and now my hair look like a puffed up hen with ruffled feathers, all the time. I had been ignoring my hair problems for a long while now, I have finally decided to focus more on hair management. The first product I purchased was an anti-frizz serum by Loreal. The fisrt ever shampoo I used by Mana Beauty & Spirit brand was their Sweet Orange and Rosemary Shampoo. I bought this on someone's recommendation and to date I do not regret it. One thing I have been facing for over a year now is, my hair problems. Last year was the worst in my entire existence. I faced serious hair fall, hair thinning and a persistent fungal dandruff. I managed to overcome my hair fall and hair thinning but dandruff is still there. Moreover, I have bleached my hair and dying them on a constant basis with bold colors like pink, violet and blue, my hair are rough and frizzy. To counter all this, I need excellent hair products. You might have seen this little blue box available at most departmental stores nation wide. Although pimple zapping is an old concept and we have seen and used them in different forms, like zapping pens, squeeze tubes, patches are relatively a new thing in Pakistan. Most of us won't even be comfortable with the idea of pasting a patch on our face making the pimple treatment all the more obvious rather than projecting, oh, I don't care, it will go away in its due time. I was going through the side effects of using Minoxidil for my hair on doctor's recommendation and got acne for the first time ever on my face. They were big saucer like pimples that hurt like a mofo. I decided to buy Hygiena pimple patch to give it a go. Here is my detailed tried and tested review on the product.

There was a time when I used to skip primer application. But now it has become a religious ritual for me every time while doing my makeup. I have quite a collection of primers, ranging from drugstore to high end. Beautify by Amna is a Pakistani brand. They stepped into the market some 2 years back and have been going strong. Reason for this is, their commitment and dedication towards delivery quality products which perform at high standards. I am all in support of local brands. Infact, I believe that we need more of our own brands. Who would understand our needs better than our own people. I am reviewing their porfade foundation primer today. Let's see how it has performed.

Honestly my expectations were not high and I took it as a celebrity fan following hype more than actual product performance. But jeez, was I wrong or what? I am generally a lazy person and maintaining routines has never been easy for me. I don't know if I should attribute it to bad habits, disorganization or just a personally trait but this is how I generally am. However, in year 2019, this is one area where I am working on improving myself. Being organized! Thats the goal. So point being, I am also lazy when it comes to taking care of myself. It wasn't so a few years back but I guess most of my time is now occupied by surfing the social media for no reason which leaves me with no time to accomplish anything else. 

With the influx of matte liquid lipsticks in the market, the need of a good lip exfoliator has also increased. There are definitely some stubborn lipsticks that really require an exfoliator to take off the residual. Lush lip scrub is gold in a pot when we speak about lip exfoliation. Here is my take on the product.
