Boxycharm is a monthly subscription beauty box. Each box contains 4 to 5 full sized items ranging from makeup and skin care, to beauty tools and color cosmetics, with cost as low  as $21. The box contains products valued at minimum $100. Being a Boxycharm member allows you access to products that you don't think of buying conventionally. Apart from this, there are regular giveaways happening at Boxycharm providing you chance to win free goodies. Members also receive special discount coupons and reward points redeemable at their exclusive charm shop.

Below is what I received in my August box: 

1. Laura Lee Los Angeles Party animal eye shadow palette

Dare to be the life of the party with Laura Lee Los Angeles Party Animal Palette. These six stunning shades create bold, colorful looks leaving  you ready for a night of fun!

The palette is quite loud with 6 fun bright shades. Not my cup of tea though. I hardly ever wear such bright, colorful shades. 

2. Wander beauty Baggage claim gold eye masks 

After a night of partying, who doesn't love a good eye mask? These gold foil undereye masks brighten, hydrate and reduce the appearance of dark circles. The hyaluronic acid diminishes the appearance of wrinkles, whole aloe leaf extracts and lavender oil cool and soothe your undereye area.

There were 3 of these masks, I used 2 before taking the pictures. Eye masks are so under rated and under hyped. You may not feel a difference right away but they do work wonders at their steady pace. I have made it a ritual for myself to apply eye mask at least once a week. Since I have Prada bags under my eyes, these masks help me in keeping them in check. 

3. Becca first light priming filter 

Prep and prime your skin with your new Becca primer. It creates a perfectly smooth canvas for your foundation. 100% party approved.

I am still using my Cover fx primer, which also came in Boxycharm. Its been a year now and I still haven't been able to finish it. I shall try Becca one once I am done with Cover fx. 

4. Smashbox metallic lipstick

Create bold, beautiful looks with your new Smashbox lip product . This pigment-loaded color glides on in just one swipe, getting you out the door and into the party quicker!

Okay, so there were so many assortments of Smashbox lip products this time, it literally felt as if Smashbox just wanted to get rid of their leftover stock, so they sent all the leftovers to Boxy. I hope this was not the case but it kind of felt like it. 

5. Bang Beauty chocolate eye liner 

Use it as an eyeliner, eyeshadow base, or even to touch-up your brows. This creamy, chocolate tones pomade is the ultimate triple threat.

Initially I thought this was a brow product and tried it on my brows, did not work like a charm. Although the product claims to work on brows as well but I am not taken with the claim as it did not work well for me. 

6. NCLA so rich lollipop cuticle oil 

Glam yourself head to cuticles before a night out with this vitamin E infused cuticle oil. Its gentle rubber grip dropper allows for the perfect dosage of oil and application every time. Gently apply and massage into the nails and cuticles two times a day to nourish and soften your nails.

My most favorite and useful product from the box is this NCLA cuticle oil. I develop a lot of dead skin around my nail beds and keeping the area hydrated is a priority as I end up getting sore nails afterwards by pulling off the skin. So far I have been using Burt Bee's beeswax hand cream which has worked wonders but I look forward to using this product as well.
