I received these pads in my Boxycharm premium box a while back. This is the beauty of Boxycharm. One gets to try products from brands unheard of. It is the first time I heard of this brand and product. Here is how my experience went.

Packaging: 

The product comes in a cardboard box, white and light orange in color with clear instructions, ingredients and product details written on it. The product itself comes in a plastic tub, light orange in color with a plastic white screw cap. The jar is made of good quality plastic and is quite sturdy. The printing quality over the jar is fine and neat. The jar contains 50 infused pads.

Here is what the brand says about its product: 

Single-use exfoliating pads soaked in an all-natural solution that gets rid of dead skin cells and hydrates the skin.

We all know exfoliation is an enormously vital part of any skin care routine, but not all exfoliation is equal. A chemical exfoliator, for example, (which uses naturally-occurring acids to remove dead skin cells, usually AHAs or BHAs) tends to give a far more thorough, even result than scrubbing your face with harsh, jagged particles. Which is why we much prefer it.

So, we combined the well-documented effectiveness of lactic acid, the most gentle of all AHAs, with ultra-hydrating essential oils to create a face exfoliator that thoroughly removes dead skin cells (the cause of dull skin and congestion), refines skin texture, minimises the appearance of fine lines and deeply moisturises. And all in 60 seconds, and using just one sweet, disposable little cotton pad.

Texture 

The pads are good quality. They are not cotton pads but more like thick paper pads with a sand paper like texture. The texture is very mild. One doesn't feel abrasion while holding it in hand. 

The upper and lower surfaces are different. The upper surface has sand paper like very mild texture that shines as well while the lower surface is plain paper like with no shine. The upper surface is meant to be used as an exfoliant.

My Thoughts: 

Honestly when I had this jar in my hand, I did not take this to be a serious product. I thought its another Indie brand trying to come up with something different and lacking performance. I was proven wrong as this gentle exfoliator turned out to be a satisfactory product. I would like to classify my skin as stubborn, it doesn't react to my experiments mostly so I tend to try different products with confidence. Normally I use scrubs and astringents and my skin remains fine. Its only after having a baby that I have noticed my skin to be more sensitive in the sense that I now have pigmentation, uneven skin tone and open pores. 

I use the exfoliation pads from time to time, say twice a week. Sometimes I use it in the morning after I have cleansed and washed my face but have this unsatisfactory feeling as if something is still left to be cleaned. At times, I use it at night after double cleansing my face just to get rid of the left over greasy feeling. This product has proven to be a very nice product. It helps me clean makeup from my neck area and any left overs around my ear area. Apart from that, its a very gentle chemical exfoliator that leaves me feeling clean and fresh. It is able to pick up left over dirt from the skin by mild exfoliation. I haven't experienced any peeling effect on my face, however the chemical feel is great. 

It has a pretty chemical-citrus fragrance and opening the jar is a pleasure in itself. The pads are soaked enough to not dry soon. Its been a year that I have this product in use and it has not dried even a bit. There is no liquid drenching in the jar but the pads are well soaked. The best use is for my neck where its able to extract the leftover foundation and I can feel clean, smooth skin afterwards.

Verdict: 

Its a very nice product but the price point is high. Given that its to be used twice a week, 50 pads will last you good 6 months and it justifies the price at this point.
