Ladies, if you are a regular Facebook junkie and keep tabs on any new upcoming brand in Pakistan, then you would know a new skin care brand has recently made its way to Pakistan and is making leaps of progress in terms of winning people. With its recent foot setting in Lahore, beauty bloggers from Lahore were invited for product demonstration session last week. This was the first time that I took part in beauty bloggers meet up and it was an unforgettable experience for me. In this post, I'll share the details of that evening with you in detail.

The meet up session started with a brief description and introduction to the brand. Then the product range was introduced along with key ingredients of the products. Not only that, we were informed about the benefits of several natural ingredients and how they work on our skins.
Have you ever imagined what we expose our skin to? In the name of skin care products, how many chemicals seep into our skin? Our skin is like a sponge which has the ability to absorb and anything that gets absorbed into the skin gets absorbed further into our blood stream, it becomes a part of our body. Now imagine all the chemicals, the parabens, the silicates and the acids our skin absorbs. What long term effects it has on our skin, on our body? No wonder skin diseases like skin cancer and allergies are becoming so common. These harmful chemicals are then transferred to off springs and they inherit the same problems or at least are more vulnerable to inherit.
The thing about Well beeing is, its cruelty free, vegan with no silicates, parabens or preservatives. Everything is 100% natural, chemical free and hand made. If something does not suit you it wont harm you either.

See the lovely food??? Everything was home made. The Hummus was out of this world tasty, I admit this is the first Hummus that I actually liked. The biscuits topped with home made cheese and Danish cheese reminded me of Buschetta. The Chinese teas...... OMG they were simply divine. It seems, the presenter is a multi talented guy, not only he formulates skin care products for Well beeing, he is a well accomplished cook as well with a classy taste. My taste buds were very pleased :D

Facial Cleansers:
So far Well beeing has 5 facial cleansers in its range.
1. Bee Glam
Daily cleanser for oily T-zone troubled skin is without soap, chemical preservatives, and coloring, removes dirt debris and impurities. It brightens complexion, tonnes, and hydrates the skin. Mild exfoliation removes dead skin cell giving fresh, rejuvenated Feel. Sandalwood reduces the appearance of pores. It effectively absorbs oil and the associated shine from the skin without leaving it dry. This cleanser also helps to restore the hydrolipidic barrier and forms a nourishing & protective film on skin, leaving skin supple & healthy looking. Excellent before applying makeup.
DIRECTIONS:
Wet your face with water. Take a pea size chunk in your palm, mix with a little water and massage to make a paste. Apply on your face and neck in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
2. Bee Clean
Daily cleanser for oily, t-zone troubled skin is without soap, chemical preservatives, and coloring, removes dirt debris and impurities. base of Kaolin clay, absorbing fuller's earth balances skin sebum while oatmeal deep cleanses. Gentle exfoliation with sucrose helps eliminating dead skin cells away. Essential oil blend of Juniper berry and Lemongrass tones and aids decongesting skin. Peppermint oil gives a cooling sensation and improves the texture of dull and oily skin. The modern blend of Essential oils has a very Pick-me-up and energetic aroma to start your day or to finish it with. This cleanser also helps to restore the hydrolipidic barrier and forms a nourishing & protective film on skin. This leaves skin supple & healthy looking. Say hello to fresh, clean, matte and balanced skin!

3. Bee Glitzy
Daily cleanser for all skin types is without soap, chemical preservatives and coloring, removes dirt, debris and impurities. The kaolin clay base deep cleanses while ground almonds gently exfoliate the dead skin away. Lavender essential oil is added to soothe and help balance out combination skin. This cleanser also helps to restore the hydrolipidic barrier and forms a nourishing & protective film on skin, leaving skin supple & healthy looking.

4. Bee Glow
Daily cleanser for dry and mature skin is without soap, chemical preservatives, and coloring, removes dirt debris and impurities. It helps improving blood circulation, brightens complexion and tonnes the skin. The mild exfoliation removes dead skin cells. which helps reducing the appearance of scars, spots, fine lines and pores giving healthy skin. Organic first pressed almond oil lightly moisturizes the skin. This cleanser also helps to restore the hydrolipidic barrier and forms a nourishing & protective film on skin, leaving it soft and souple. The strong sweet, spicy and musky aroma of patchouli is aphrodisiac, relaxing, grounding and reminiscent of the “love children” of the 60s.

5. Bee Awake
Daily cleanser for dry and normal skin is without soap, chemical preservatives, and coloring, removes dirt debris and impurities. Nourishing Kaolin clay, absorbing fuller's earth balances skin sebum while oatmeal deep cleanses. Gentle exfoliation with sucrose helps eliminating dead skin cells away. Vitamin rich first cold-pressed organic sweet almond oil lightly moisturizes the skin. Alert your senses with the awakening dose of caffeine that helps with puffy skin to get firm, smooth and tighten its appearance. Antioxidants contained in caffeine counter free radicals and aid eliminating them, giving a younger and healthier looking skin. This cleanser also helps to restore the hydrolipidic barrier and forms a nourishing & protective film on skin.

I tested Be awake on my skin as I was really drawn to the coffee aroma of the facial cleanser. I tried it on my left hand and the result is below.

Sensational massage melts and solid body lotions:
Main ingredients are cotton seed oil, shea butter and olive oil.
The unique aspect of these body lotions is they are solid, like soap bars. This is a total new concept for me as I have never heard of solid lotions before. I find the idea very intriguing as its very user friendly. Imagine, you have no fear of liquid spilling in your handbag and creating a mess as the lotion is in solid form. All you have to do is rub a little on your hands and massage it into your skin.
The use of these lotions was demonstrated to us and it was tested right there and then by the bloggers. I found it very convenient to use and the best part was, it absorbed instantly into my skin and did not leave behind any greasy residue and felt very light on the skin. I apply hand lotion a lot, like 4-6 times a day and it results in an oily film over my laptop but with these solid lotions I am expecting not to be the case. The only draw back of these lotions is, they won't be able to with stand extreme weather and might melt in the harsh Summers of Lahore.
The solid lotions come in 6 variants with different scents and shapes and are very tempting to use. All ingredients being 100% natural.

Well beeing has 5 different bath salts in its range. 2 of them are therapeutic and remaining 3 are regular bath salts.
1. Bee chocoholic
2. Bee refreshed
3. Bee relieved
I got to smell a few bath salts and I must say they smelled so refreshing and the aroma rising from those salts was so relaxing. One just can not get out of bath if thats going to be the case. Good thing about these bath salts is they are so skin friendly that you can use bath salt water for your face as well. It will not absorb the moisture on your skin rather it will help resurface the moisture from underneath the skin.
I find the vintage glass packaging so awesome. Show me anything vintage and I am sold. At this moment I am not even concerned about the performance of the product, one look at those bottles and I was sold right there and then.

The best part about this meet up was, it was not only a product marketing activity or brand attraction by the Well beeing team. The Well beeing representative actually made an effort to educate us about skin structure, layering and how different products and ingredients perform on the skin. But thats a discussion which I shall be mentioning during the product reviews, in my current post, I am only sticking to product introduction.
Well beeing lip scrubs are of 4 types. The fourth one is still in process. The other three are:
1. Bee Happy
BEE-HAPPY is packed full of fresh peppermint that gives tingly cooling feeling. With a clean finger, apply & exfoliate to improve texture, leaving lips moisturized and soft. Be sure to lick off the minty flavor to freshen your breath and to satisfy your sweet tooth. Your lips are prepared for your favorite lip color, balm or a smooch.
Directions: With a clean finger, apply your lip balm or tint and get ready to pucker up.
2. Bee Berry
Sweet and sour tasting lip scrub and the sweet coconut smell reminds a vacation in the tropics. This product Improves texture, leaving lips fresh, conditioned, moisturized, flawless, soft and accelerate cell turnover. Be sure to lick off the excess exquisite flavor to satisfy your sweet tooth. Your lips are prepared for your favorite lip color, balm.
Directions: With a clean finger, apply your lip balm or tint and get ready to pucker up.
3. Bee Kissed
This rich, buttery, creamy cushioning formula has dual action. It gently exfoliates lips, moisturizes and make them plump while being low sheen. 1. Bee Sunny
This formulations is slippery, low sheen, smooth, salve and weightless. It has moisturizing hydrating and soothing texture. When applied on the lips this lip tint glides easily, gives a nude tint and is rich in healing properties thanks to turmeric. Blend of lemon, orange, pepper mint and eucalyptus essential oils are refreshing and up lifting.

2. Bee Indulged
Weightless, slippery and gliding texture of this lip balm is moisturizing, hydrating and soothing and has a mild sheen. Pepper mint essential oil provides a refreshing cooling effect on the lips and is breath freshening. Chocolate and cocoa powder is added for flavor and a mild tint. It’s like after eight chocolate for the lips . Get ready to pucker up on a romantic date.

Facial colors:
Well beeing facial colors are 100% natural with no harmful chemicals at all and are preservative free. At the moment there are 8 colors in the range. They contain bees wax and are paraben free. The colors can be used as eye shadows, cheek tints or lip colors. They are multi purpose and are very pigmented much to my surprise.

All in all, it was a fun filled evening with a very informative session and getting to know other bloggers. It was not only about getting to test new products or taking new products home for testing, it was more of a learning session with new information and knowledge gained. The homely, cozy feeling that came with the ambiance was another plus. The arrangements made by Well beeing for the bloggers were commendable. I simply loved everything. I am not a tea person at all but the Chinese herbal teas that were served tasted amazing. I am thankful to Well beeing for providing me the chance to be a part of this event.
