November has been the slowest in terms of empties progress. My job role at work has changed and I am transitioning into the new role. This transition has come with a busy schedule that requires me to learn and experiment, practice and deliver. The routine at home also doesn't leave me with much time. November and December both have been challenging in terms of staying on track, Other than that, my sister in law is getting married in the first week of January and we have been busy shopping for the wedding. Shopping trips after work have left me quite exhausted. With my limited self care this month, below are some empties for the month of November.

Over the years I have mellowed and don't really share much about my bad shopping experiences. However it seems there is an even more need to be wary and cautious while shopping online as there are even bigger fraudsters and scammers with every passing day. I attribute most bad experiences to the lack of professionalism and business ethics in most cases. My today's post is an experience I have recently had with a clothing store where I ordered some winter clothing for my toddler.
I ordered below 3 sweatshirts for 12 - 18 months kid for Winters. When the order arrived, to my surprise, all shirts were of different sizes. Only 1 of the shirts fit him best. Rest 2 were so small that one seemed like for a kid of 3 - 6 months old and the other one for 6-9 months old. My baby is slim and not a chubby kid, even the 1-2 years or 12 - 18 months sized shirt seemed like one for 9 - 12 months old size. That was the only one that fit him well.

My regular readers would know, what a pain area my hair is. I would be sleek and in full glory except my hair which always resemble Anne Hathaway from "The Princess Diaries" before she gets a makeover. I have bought products left and right to tame them a bit. Its a China based cosmeceuticals company that deals in color cosmetics, skin care products and hair dressing products mainly. They have around 300 product varieties. The brand is endorsed by Alibaba and Ali Express where they have an official online store.

If you are a skin care conscious person, no matter what age you belong to, then you surely must have heard of two brands; The Body Shop and Lush. Both these brands are known for their eco friendly and chemical free skin care products. When I first found out about Mana Beauty & Spirit, my first impression was - "Oh, our very own Lush". Two years into using their products, I have no such impression left. Mana has their own brand vision and they are surely not copying Lush. Yes, the theme does look along the lines of Lush but it has its own league. I have used quite a lot of products from their range and today I shall be reviewing their body scrub.

One thing I have been facing for over a year now is, my
hair problems. Last year was the worst in my entire existence. I faced serious
hair fall, hair thinning and a persistent fungal dandruff. I managed to
overcome my hair fall and hair thinning but dandruff is still there.
Moreover, I have bleached my hair and dying them on a constant basis with bold
colors like pink, violet and blue, my hair are rough and frizzy. To counter all

Honestly my expectations were not high and I took it as a celebrity fan following hype more than actual product performance. But jeez, was I wrong or what? I am back with another WTF post, which is a series I do when I experience a horrible product or equally bad customer service. I have always considered it my moral responsibility as a beauty blogger, to ensure that people do not get conned in the name of original makeup by getting fakes or copies and I have been trying to do this since the day I started this blog. We are all well aware of how quickly counterfeit cosmetics have sprung up, how easy it is to access them and, how many online stores are fooling people by taking hard earned cash under the pretense of selling originals. My today's post will reveal one such black sheep in the beauty market. I am doing my part and expect you to do yours by sharing this post as much as you can to save your friends from being cheated.
Here goes the story.... I was very thrilled about Yonique mascara set and had been seeing people selling them, reading rave reviews and watching you tube tutorials. Honestly as an avid shopper I try my best to get the best deals without compromising on the quality. The mascara price was quite high which always stopped me from buying it. The one day I came upon this new Facebook Makeup store selling the same mascara at an excellent price. I initiated conversation with her asking about originality which she ensured. Hence I placed order for the mascara in advance and received it after a month on COD. With much thanks on my part the conversation was closed. However I had this doubt somewhere in my heart that the mascara set was not original. Pushing away the feeling, I went on with my routine. Then the Kylie frenzy started and this page was offering an excellent price of Rs. 5500 for the Bronze palette. I placed an order with her again.

It seems the modern trend these days is, to get stuff from Ali Express and start selling it on exorbitant prices. Use the word "Imported" with your products and Boom! your sales are rocket high. Customer Services? What are those? Never heard of them, ever! Undeliberately it seems, it has become my mission number 1 to highlight my ridiculous shopping experiences, probably to vent and also to make others aware of what is going on around us, and how cautious we need to be. I understand that Pakistan is still a growing baby in the world of E-Commerce but now that we are in the booming stage, business ethics are not supposed to be a foreign concept, rather something (a behavior) ingrained. Let me narrate an interesting shopping experience of mine from a emerging online store which even got featured on Mangobaaz. Oh, did I mention another trend? Send a few things to digital media people like influencers and kaboom! good reviews enforced.
