Hi Beauties!
Body Shop sales are crazy times. Unfortunately the body shop sale is not as amazing as the international ones but none the less whenever there is a sale on body shop outlets, the crowd usually goes crazy. There was a 3 day sale recently on the Body shop items from 14th March to 16th March with upto 75% off on items. I bought myself fair share of products, some I had been eyeing for a while. Continue reading the post to find out how I emptied my pockets at The Body Shop.

Hi Beauties!
The new year has begun and I am sure it must have started with a few resolutions at least. Mine is, less shopping like the past year and the year before that. Today I am bringing you my first haul post of the year 2015. Essence Pakistan recently launched a new trend edition by the name of "Road Trip", its not available in stores at Lahore so far so I had to order a few items online. Here is what I ordered.

Hi Beauties!
Yes, again I have been MIA for quite some time. Every time when I decide to be more active on my blog, life throws the unexpected at me and I am tossed here and there with little or no time left on my hands for blogging. Half of June has already flown by and this happens to be my first post for this month. Enough of my whining, lets get on with the post. For a very long time I have seen beauty bloggers using The Balm cosmetics and reviewing them on their blogs. I so badly wanted to get my hand on Balm products but their prices is what kept me away most of the times. But Balm keeps putting sale offers from time to time and this time when they had their sale on, I ordered a few items for myself and thoroughly indulged myself. Here is what I ordered...

Hi Beauties!
So all of us have heard the hype about Sigma and Real techniques brushes. Undoubtedly their performance is excellent but they also come with a heavy price tag. Something being inexpensive does not always mean that it can not perform well. This phenomenon was proved by one of my drug store brand brushes which I am going to review today.

Hi Beauties!
I just don't know what to say other than "Finally, at last!" I have heard such good things about Real Techniques brushes and almost every other beauty blogger owns one. I suppose I was the only one without them. I had my eyes set on these brushes for long but couldn't seem to decide where to buy from. At last I made the decision and bought another thing along with the brush set as well. Keep reading to find out more.

Hi Beauties!
I think this happens to be my first review on a makeup brush and quite frankly I have no idea how I am going to put into words what I feel for this brush. I got this makeup brush almost 2 years back and I would say it was an excellent buy on my part. Since this happens to be an OMG post you must have figured out I have good things to say about this brush.
I purchased this brush from RIOS Hyperstar outlet Lahore. This was their last brush in stock and I just wanted to get my hands on it after reading good reviews about stippling brushes and the need to must have them in your stash. Another choice available to me at that time was Luscious duo fibre stippling brush but I found it to be over priced so my next choice was Rivaaj brush for sure and quite frankly I found it to be the only brand having stippling brush at that time locally available.
I was personally not aware of stippling brushes or how to use them or what they did. But when I read reviews of Pakistani bloggers and some other bloggers stippling brush was the only thing I could think of to buy on priority basis. When I got my hands on this brush I was metaphorically in heaven. Since that day I have used this brush for several purposes. I have used it to apply liquid foundation, face powder and blush on.
Rivaaj R06 brush has really soft bristles. The lower half of the bristles is black while the top bristles are white. The handle is wooden and is long and sturdy. In these two years I would say maximum 5 to 6 bristles would have shed from this brush which is pretty normal.
Why I prefer this brush?
I always apply liquid foundations with this brush. The finish you get by blending foundation with the help of a brush is way different from blending with a sponge or fingers. I get a very air brushed finish out of my makeup when I use this brush for applying foundation. The application gets real smooth and the foundation spreads easily on the face and requires very small quantities. One thing to bear in mind is that its a soft bristled brush unlike Sigma F80 so do not put your liquid foundation on the brush it might sink down into the bristles base. Another important thing to remember is that you should stipple the foundation over your face with this brush which mean lightly tap the foundation all over your face. Do not swirl it. After your are done with the stippling swirl the brush to set the foundation to get a buffed and air brush finish. After blending my foundation I apply powder with the same brush at times and often blush too. The blush application gets real smooth, buff and air brushed. Now aren't all these reasons enough to praise this brush?
The only thing I did not like about this brush is that it is not strongly glued to the handle of the brush. With stipple and swirl motions the handle and the brush dettached real soon. I think Rivaaj needs to work on this part. Other than this I find the brush totally amazing.
I purchased this brush for Rs. 395 and totally recommend every girl who still does not own a stippling brush to definitely buy it. Its totally worth it. I rate it 4.5/5. Hope you liked my review. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!
