|Review|: Biobalance Cracked heel and foot balm
1:00 PM
Hello Beautiful!
Bio Balance is a brand of Alpaya Dermaceuticals which is a Turkish company. Some of the products from this brand are being imported to Pakistan and distributed by Uniferoz. If you have not heard about Uniferoz, here is a hint -- Saniplast. We all know what Saniplast is... Uniferoz is the manufacturer of Saniplast and they have other brands like Bio derma and Sandiderm under their belt too. I have tried 3 of their products so far and liked each one of them. My today's review is on their cracked heel and foot balm.

"Bio Balance explores the synergistic effects of vitamins, herbal extracts, and minerals and uses them only in the right amounts and the right combinations which are more effective than their natural form."

Before I start with my review, I would like to mention here that since I work in Pharmaceuticals sector, I may have observed this product with more scrutiny and noticed certain aspects to this product which are unimportant normally. I shall share them within my review.
Packaging:
The packaging of this product has impressed me. The product comes in a sturdy cardboard box with a very nice quality printing. Since its a dermaceutical product and not a cosmeceutical product, the packaging, description and details have been worked upon thoroughly and it gives out a very professional and meaningful look to the whole product as a package. It has both elements; aesthetically pleasing and eye catching for over the counter customers and professional enough that when prescribed by a doctor or pharmacist, the seriousness of the product stays in tact.
Back of the cardboard mentions product details, active ingredients, doctor's testimonial while the sides of the box talk about product effectiveness and its results concluded after testing on people.

Coming to the first look of the product, it comes in a soft plastic tube pack with 60 ml content. The size is travel friendly with a pop lid.

Consistency and Texture:
The product has a thick gel like texture, its creamy but has a Vaseline like feel to it. It melts on to the skin once rubbed between palms. The consistency is thick. It has a very light tinge of fragrance to it, more or less odorless.
My Experience:
This product by far is one of the best foot balm/cream I have used. I tend to neglect my feet mostly. I don't moisturize them by applying creams or lotions in general and I end up having dry skin and cracked heels. I purchased this product because it came with Uniferoz tag and I knew that its going to be a quality product for sure. What happens with me is that I end up having dry feet with clear white patches around my to nails and also my heels tend to get hard. My skin looks parched and crack-y. When I used Bio Balance cracked heel and foot balm for the first time, I was smitten. It not only hydrates the feet, it heals them and also improves the skin color and texture.
As claimed by the brand, the product hydrates and leaves the skin smooth and soft. Furthermore it improves the skin color, helps with darkened knuckles by lightening them with constant use. Its also very much suitable for diabetic patients and for mature skin. My mum who is in her 70's uses it and loves the results.
The balm is all seasons and can be used any time of the day/year. It will tend to leave a greasy residue for a short while but will fully absorb in a matter of 2 minutes. I prefer using the balm after I take a shower and in the morning before leaving for work and putting on my shoes. My feet stay hydrated for 10 hours straight without the patchy, dry effect.
