|Review|: Ayna Beauty Tinted Moisturizer: A mixed bag

2:24 PM

Ayna Beauty has been making waves in the local beauty market with its innovative and affordable products. One of their recent launches, the tinted moisturizer with SPF, caught the attention of many beauty enthusiasts. In this review, I'll share my honest thoughts on the product, including its pros and cons.

Packaging:

The tinted moisturizer comes in a sleek, minimalist grey cardboard box that reflects Ayna Beauty's modern aesthetic. The product itself is housed in a sturdy tube that resembles the popular IT Cosmetics CC cream. The packaging is simple yet effective, providing clear instructions and an ingredients list. The product quantity is 30 ml. The website says 40 ml product. Maybe they have changed the packaging size now.

I purchased the shade "vanilla," which is a perfect match for my skin tone. The tinted moisturizer offers a light to medium coverage, which is ideal for those who prefer a natural, dewy finish. While I wasn't expecting heavy coverage, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it evened out my complexion.

The formula of the tinted moisturizer is lightweight and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It blends effortlessly and doesn't cake or settle into fine lines. The product also contains SPF, which is a major plus for those who want to protect their skin from harmful UV rays.

My Thoughts:

This moisturizing tint provides light to medium coverage, which is what I expected. After two weeks of daily use, I can confidently say the formula exceeded my expectations. It kept my skin matte for long hours and felt lightweight without clogging my pores. For mature or maturing skin, it’s an excellent choice if you’re looking for a natural finish that adapts to your skin type.

Unfortunately, within two months, the tube started leaking, despite not being used even once. As someone who treats her vanity products with care (and in a climate-controlled room!), I was shocked by this defect. Even worse was the brand’s customer service response, which deflected the blame onto me, citing excuses like “squeezing too hard” or “keeping it in a warm place.” My vanity holds over 500 beauty products, none of which have had packaging issues, except for this one. Sadly, a quick internet search revealed I wasn’t the only one with complaints about their packaging—and the brand’s dismissive customer service. When I posted the reel about the issue, the brand wanted to send a replacement which I politely declined as previously they not only were dismissive but rude to me as well. Despite liking the formula, I won't be spending my money on the brand due to their customer services.

Verdict:

While I genuinely enjoyed using Ayna Beauty's tinted moisturizer for its coverage and matte finish, I won’t be repurchasing it. Customer service is crucial, and sadly, Ayna Beauty failed on that front. Packaging flaws and poor response to customer concerns have made me rethink supporting this brand, even though the product itself performs well.

If Ayna Beauty can improve their customer relations and packaging, I’d reconsider. Until then, it’s a “no” from me.
