The two-day Festival held at Expo Centre, Lahore, on November 12 and 13 attracted a huge number of visitors from all corners of the city and provided families with an opportunity to plan a perfect day out, where they met their favorite Masala chefs, shopped to their hearts content, watched live cooking demonstrations, and purchased autographed copies of their favorite cookbooks.
HUM TV’s latest play, Sang-e-Marmar is a saga of love, betrayal and revenge and lies that can destroy families and relations. The story revolves around childhood friends Shireen and Aurang. Shireen grows up thinking that Aurang is her life partner while Aurang always considers her as a good friend. In the pursuit of his dreams, Aurang forgets about his childhood friendship. Shireen feels betrayed and embarks on a series of vendettas that fill both the families with hatred and animosity and they become sworn enemies.
[Karachi: 23rd April, 2016] Aksbandh, an independent film produced under the banner of Cinematic Media and Big Idea Entertainment, is set to be released on May 20th across Pakistan.
Karachi, December 30, 2015: Greenwich University in its 11th convocation conferred the degree of Mass Communication, honoris causa, to Sultana Siddiqui, President HUM Network Limited at a ceremony held at the Greenwich University on December 29, 2015 in Karachi. Apart from Sultana Siddiqui, the University also conferred doctor honoris causa to Mr Sardar Muhammad Yasin Malik; Chairman Hilton Pharma Ltd, and Mr Sirajuddin Aziz; Chairman Habib Metropolitan Bank Ltd, in their respective fields. The honorary degrees were presented by Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Professor Dr Mukhtar Ahmed; Chairperson HEC, and Seema Mughul; Vice Chancellor Greenwich University.
