Beauty Haul from Al Fatah

2:32 PM

Hi Beauties!

So continuing my haul posts from previous month, I have got some more to share. Al Fatah has got quite some variety when it comes to cosmetics. They have MAC, Bobbi Brown, Body Shop and what not. I splurged some things too. Here is what I got.

1. Neutrogena wave
2. The Face Shop strawberry cleansing foam
3. Too faces Smokey Eye kit
4. Too Faced Natural Eye kit
5. Makeover Paris 6 pcs eye shadow kit
6. Classics Listick

These Too Faced eye shadow kits cost me Rs. 1195 each. Quite reasonable eh? Well guess what, I got ripped. How? Well, these are not originals rather copies and are available for Rs. 700 at Victoria Departmental Store Link Road. *Sympathies needed*

The 6 pcs eye shadow kit by Makeover Paris is for Rs. 895.

Classics lipstick for Rs. 275.

Neutrogena wave for Rs. 845. I asked the price at VIP cosmetics shop in Liberty Market and they are selling it for Rs. 1200. Gosh!

The Face Shop cleansing foam in strawberry for Rs. 375.

Hope you beauties liked my haul. Drop in your comments and let me know what you think of my buys. Stay healthy and beautiful. Take care!

  2. Thankyou Arial. neutrogena wave is a cleansing and exfoliating tool. An exfoliating or cleansing pad is attached at the head and it vibrates to cleanse or exfoliate the face... great tool if you are lazy :p

  3. Plz be careful when buying fake products. Do an allergy test on your inner arm first and wait for 72 hours. These fakies don't go through any health/ safety tests and are manufactured in shady basements of Thailand and China. Many contain lead and other nasties and are harmful to eyes,. Hope u dont mind my comment. Just a concerned reader of ur blog.

  4. Thank you Pandora Box for your concern. I really aapreciate it. Some time back i posted an article on my blog. It was posted in Yahoo's newsfeed. Recently there has baan another such article on Yahoo too. You would not believe the high end brands like Estee lauder, Clinique and such are found to have arsenic in their products. Imagine not only lead but also arsenic in your lip products! moreover so many high end brands are outsorucing to China which are then shipped back to respective companies. Hence no guarantees yet again for the chemical compound. So many women complained after these findings that they pay high price for products just coz they expect them to b of high quality and safe yet no use. So now I personally dont bother with the fakes. I bought these Too faced expecting them to be real. I mean just look at them they look so real but they are not :(

  11. Great haul girl, however I was shocked to know u found too faced for that cheap. It's sad that they didn't inform you it was fake cos alfatah people do tell, as they have separate counters. I did see an original too faced palette at alfatah and it was priced at 10,000 plus. :|

  12. I wonder why these big stores sell fake branded products. I happened to face the same thing at Roop Singhar at liberty some six months ago. I went there to get Maybelline Eye Studio Gel eye liner. I have trust in these big stores as I asume they do not play with their clients' trust. The sales rep showed me MAC and Bobby brown saying that Maybelline was not in stock at the moment. I was not aware if those were original MAC and bobby Brown Gel eye liners. I got bobby brown for around Rs.1800 ( since i got it around Nov , December 2011, I dont exactly remember the price). To my surprise, He also offer me aa small liner brush with the gel eye liner for free.

few days later, when i had to use the gel eye liner for a wedding makeover, my cvousin saw it in my hands and asked to see it. She told me that that I got the fake one :( I was so down to know that I had been cheated on. The Booby brown gel eyeliner in in plastic container with plastic cap on and it smears and smudges like hell ( the original Boby brown gel eye liner is in small glass container). its more like an oily messy matter in the small pot. I would ask you all to spare some time and do visit ROOP singhar and check those fake MAC and Bobby brown gel eyeliners (plastic container with Rs.1800-1900 price). They are so sweet to you when they r selling you. Once you get to know that u got fake product, you go back to them and tell them that its fake. They refuse to take it back saying that it is the original one and they will never take it bakc :(

  13. this is really bad on store's part. They should tell the client about the product if it is original or not.

  14. I stopped going to roop singhar way long back because they sell fake products moreover they are over priced and their maximum effort is to rip off the customer from money. I recently went to roop singhar and i could see clinique and estee lauder lying there for like a century before. they were dusty and old. They sell fake nars and bobbi brown and never admit doing so. However I recently went there got a lotion adn thats just it. The salesman took out the whole shop in front of me to buy this or that but i dint :p Im so sorry to know this happened with you. we as customers need to be very vigilant coz these shop keepers hv no ethics
