|Review|: Nars Blush in Angelika

Hi Beauties!
Nars and Bobbi Brown is something I always dream to get my hands on but unfortunately they are not so widely available here and also they are very pricey and my small little pocket does not allow me to spend much upon them or at all on them. However I managed to get my hands on a Nars blush and does it live up to its name and reputation? Read further to find out...

Here I would like to mention that it is not the original NARS product rather a replica, made in Thailand. I purchased this from Enem store and the sales rep was kind and honest enough to tell me that it isn't the original one. Looking at the packaging and finishing I might have never figured it out but looking at different pictures over the internet I can now say, I will be able to spot a fake Nars product now onward. The packing you see above is quite haggard as if it has been quite mistreated. Actually I purchased it sometime back, had been using the product but did not take pictures so I kept the cardboard box to shoot pictures of it later. It had been lying around here and there, hence the wear and tear. Keep reading the post further and I shall explain to you the differences of original and replica Nars blush.

The blush comes in a matte black plastic tray container with an attached mirror taped with Nars plastic logo. It is exactly how the original Nars looks like but observing it carefully you will notice that the plastic container is way too matte. Its actually a little rubbery while the original one is plain matte plastic. Due to the rubbery property of the replica it kinds of tend to stick like rubber does.

The original Nars does not some with an inscribed logo on the blush. The original blush is plain without any logo. Secondly the original Angelika blush is pink in color while this one is peach.

The bottom of the blush has a sticker with shade name and company details written. The sticker is black and opaque just like the original one which might make it hard to differentiate from the original one. The original one is a little shiny this one however is totally matte and dull.

Truly I love the pigmentation of this product. Its a beautiful peach color blush. The original one comes with shimmer and adds a slight glow to the cheeks. This one however is matte without any shimmer. Upon trying to swatch it with my finger, I could not pick up much product on my finger and was sort of a little disappointed. When I applied it with my kabuki brush on my cheeks, My Goodness, it gave a wonderful color payoff. I am wearing it to work everyday these days and I am loving it fully. The color stays put for 4 to 5 hours and starts to fade slowly.

Replica or original, it kind of gives me the feeling of using a branded high end product. The best part is I love is even being a replica it gives out excellent color payoff and has not damaged my skin at all. Its a powder blush yet its so finely ground that it gives a creamy smooth finish and lasts long on the cheeks. Since its matte and without shimmer its another plus for me and for the price its a total steal. Its priced at Rs. 495 only.
