|Empties|: July 2024 - A Month of Hits, Misses, and Holy Grails

3:23 PM

A little late, but I have to post this for my own peace of mind. There’s something deeply satisfying about finishing a product—whether it’s a long-time favorite or a new discovery. July 2024 was a mix of haircare, skincare, and body essentials, and here’s my take on what I used up this month!

July 2024 empties

1. Lolane Pixxel Hair Spa Mask for Extra Damaged Hair

This mask was a solid choice for my damaged hair. It delivered on its promise of deep conditioning without breaking the bank. The quantity was decent for the price, and I’d definitely repurchase if I’m looking for an affordable hair treatment.

2. Skin Deep Deodorant in Lemon and Tea Tree

Already reviewed on the blog, this product was definitely a miss. For complete detailed review, click here

3. Imperial Leather Wild Things Body Wash

A fun, fruity body wash that lathers well and leaves the skin feeling clean. The scent is playful and perfect for summer mornings.

4. WBM Care Hand Cream in Olive Oil and Shea Butter

This hand cream was a pleasant surprise! It’s deeply hydrating without feeling greasy, and the olive oil and shea butter combo works wonders for dry hands.

5. Aveeno Active Naturals Anti-Itch Concentrated Lotion

A lifesaver for post-shaving irritation and even during my pregnancy when I dealt with itchy skin due to high alkaline levels. It’s soothing, effective, and a must-have in my skincare arsenal.

6. The Nue Co. Pill

Already reviewed on the blog, its a staple for me. It’s a great addition to my skincare routine. I am on my second bottle now and its on my repurchase list. For complete review, click here

7. Inglot Duraline

A cult favorite for a reason! This little miracle worker transforms any eyeshadow into a liner or pigment. A must-have for reviving dried-out eyeliners, gel pots, and even liquid lipsticks! Always repurchasing this one. A must-have for makeup enthusiasts.

8. Khaadi Hydrating Vitamin C Face Moisturizer

A lightweight, gel-based moisturizer that’s perfect for summers. However, the strong fragrance might not be for everyone. If you’re sensitive to scents, this one might not be your cup of tea.

9. Rivaj UK Duo Pencil Sharpener

For something as simple as a sharpener, I expected better. It gets the job done, but the quality could be improved. I have used better ones so I know I won't be buying again neither recommending this one.

10. Yardley London Gentleman Suave Anti-Perspirant Roll-On

A reliable roll-on that keeps you fresh all day. The scent is subtle and masculine, making it a great everyday option.

11. Miniso Derma-planing Razor

This razor is sharp—like, really sharp. While it’s great for derma-planing, you need to be extra careful. It’s effective, but not for the faint-hearted, so use it with caution.

This is round up of what I finished in July 2024. Again, I know, the post is coming super late but then again, its more for my benefit than anyone's since it gives me a sense of relief that as much as I am spending on products, I am also using and finishing them off at the same time.

If you want me to review any product in particular, let me know in comments or drop me a DM. I am more than happy to share my personal opinion. Stay healthy and beautiful. xoxo!!!
