I have been totally neglecting nail posts lately that too because of my sheer laziness to grab the camera and make a few clicks. But not anymore. Today I am fully up for a NOTD and not only this one I shot pictures of two more NOTDs, will be doing the other posts later :p So here goes.... 

Don't confuse yourself with the packaging of the product. I purchased this one like two years back. Did a haul post on it too which you can browse through by clicking on this link and also I did a nail art post using this nail color so you can also check that out here. So Essence color and go nail polishes come in a new packaging now with a curvacaseous body and thicker apllicator brush. The one I have is a 5ml small mini bottle with a small thin brush. Since my nails ain't very broad, I have no trouble applying nail color with this brush. The bottles are pretty small and are super travel friendly. I assure you they wont break very easily since I have dropped them quite alot of times through my clumsy hands!

Let's get lost - 55, is a very pretty deep sky blue color, perfect for summers. Its fresh and very appealing to the eyes. The nail polish takes 1 to 2 minutes to apply and dries quite quickly, so no waiting for half an hour to let it dry and ending up with stiff fingers for me!!! The sawtches you see below are the results of two coats. Totally opaque!!!

To be honest if you ask me about the lasting ability of this nail polish, I can not comment on that as I do not let nail colors last two days on my nails. I remove them and re apply a different color. However I can say this would last 2 to 3 days without chipping and then start to chip off at the tips. It may last long with the use of a top coat though.

I am rating it 4.5/5 because I do not find any fault with it. I mean some may find it small and fiddle with small applicator brush but small bottle is supposed to have a small brush, so can't complain on that. However it isn't chip resistant so I am deducting 0.5 for that.
