|Review|: The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser
5:44 PMI was introduced to the double cleansing method last year. Ever since, I have not looked back. In my search for cleansers, Ordinary's Squalane cleanser is a well-known name I came across. Did it live up to the hype for me? Let's find out!

My Experience:
The best feature of this product for me is its packaging. Since it comes in a tube packaging, its very convenient to use, hygienic and travel friendly. The squeeze tube takes precedence over jar packaging for me any day. You don't have to dunk in your hand to scoop out the product. The product has a great texture as its gel like but blends into an emollient. Its soap free so takes more product to spread on to the face. Although it makes tall claims of removing makeup, which it does but not too well over the eye area. I had to rub in a couple of times to remove the eye liner which easily gets removed by other oil based cleansers. Also, despite being soap free, it did sting my eyes. I wasn't expecting it to happen but it did. Not sure, if its just me or it has happened to others as well.
A major draw back of this product is the quantity and price point for the offered quantity. It comes in a 50 ml squeeze tube which when compared to other oil based cleansers is very less. While the squalane cleanser effectively removes makeup and initial impurities, it doesn't fully deliver that squeaky-clean sensation I crave in my cleansing routine which is why, I use a second cleanser on my skin. Despite the greasy residue issue, I appreciate the gentle nature of The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser. It doesn't strip the skin or leave it feeling tight or dry, which is crucial for maintaining a healthy skin barrier.

The Ordinary products can be ordered online via various sourcing platforms.
Verdict:
So, would I recommend The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser? It depends! If you have dry skin and are looking for a gentle makeup remover, then yes, it could be a great first-cleanse option. However, if you have oily or sensitive skin, the greasy residue might not be your cup of tea. Remember, every skin is different!
Would I repurchase it again? The answer is, No. For me, there are much cheaper options available in the market that deliver similar and better results. Hope you liked the review. Stay healthy and beautiful. xoxo!!!
