I am on a roll and will shamelessly be posting all pending subscription services review that I should have posted way long back. Like this one, which happens to be almost a year old. In my defence, it takes sub boxes time to reach your door step since no service mails directly to Pakistan and we have to rely on intermediaries for buying. This process sometimes takes 2 months and also at times, there are left over boxes or cancelled orders posted months later. Today I bring you Ipsy Glam Bag for the month of December 2017. I bought it months later and just for the Pixi product since I am so taken with them but rarely am able to get my hands on them.

Hold on tight, today's post is also about another Subscription service. I must say, this was one of my most awaited Subscription service. I had been waiting for the time when Just4girls, our very own first makeup e-commerce website would launch their own. My wish got granted and I opted for their first Glam Box in April. Continuing my love for the subscription services, I came across February's Ipsy Glam Bag being sold at a Facebook store. I am not a die hard fan of Ipsy but I do believe that it provides access to brands which are not very known in Pakistan. The reason I opted for this month's Ipsy was solely the pouch. I love anything that is denim and this pouch being denim was something I wanted to get. Hence I ordered it and to know what came inside this bag, read my post further.

This new trend of holding makeup exhibitions is becoming quite popular day by day and more and more online stores are engaging into this practice. It has to be popular because of the fact that most of the international brands are not available in Pakistan and these exhibitions allow us a real time experience of getting to touch and pick and choose the items of our liking. Makeup for you, right after 3 months of holding their first exhibition held another one on March 26, 2016 and showcased some of the best and most sought after items. It also happens to be the first store to conduct back to back exhibitions in such short span of time. Makeup 4 U created great hype for this event and really pumped up the exceptions of their customers by posting teasers of products tempting us not to miss this event. On February 20th, 2016, 5 Facebook stores got together and arranged a cosmetics, clothes and jewellery exhibition in Lahore arranged by Demure events. The main focus of the event was cosmetics. Since I also dig makeup my whole focus lied there and I did not take a look at the clothes or jewllery. 

This post is quite late but here is what I received in my Glam bag for the month of May. The pouch is same in size as it was last month. The only change this time around is in the design. This time, its a checkered pattern which reminds me of Burberry coats and shawls. 

The catch about beauty blogging is that sometimes you get sucked in to the frenzy which surrounds a particular product and when you realize the truth, its too late by then. Although I am a big fan of NYX cosmetics and I love their product range as it offers great variety at affordable rates, but some products are simply dud and we have to live with the fact. New month brings a new subscription box. ST Effects beauty box is a beauty subscription service that started last month. If you want to see what I got in my previous box click here, you will get to know about the service details and how it works. Coming back to this month's box here is what I got in my monthly subscription box. 

It seems the new rave in Pakistan's beauty blogosphere is, subscription boxes. Many online Facebook stores are coming up with this idea. I, as a beauty blogger am more than pleased with the availability of these subscription boxes. The point of these subscription boxes is to bring to you new brands and versatile products relatively at a bit more value than what you are paying for each box. Since most of the brands are not available in Pakistan, the idea sounds awesome. Today, I bring you another beauty box which was launched in November 2014, but I came to know about it recently. 

I am so sorry for my long absence. December was such a critical month for doing some very interesting and lovely posts before the year end but unfortunately my phone is dead again which means I have no access to the internet other than when I am at work. I am doing this post from my work as well just because I got some time to do it. I hope you won't mind my absence as I shall make it upto you with many lovely posts as soon as my internet is up.
