I am an old customer of 4U2 cosmetics brand. Its a Thailand based color cosmetic brand which was available in Pakistan in 2011 I believe. It was discontinued a few years back I guess as I could not spot a single item in stores. It has recently popped up again, not sure if its being managed by the same management or some other. Their lipstick was a random purchase as the packaging looked very appealing. Ignore the lighting in pictures, I shot these on my work desk, hence the lighting isn't proper.

I hopped on to the Kylie bandwagon when they were launched mainly due to the hype surrounding against the brand. Honestly my expectations were not high and I took it as a celebrity fan following hype more than actual product performance. But jeez, was I wrong or what? The product actually does perform contrary to the hate surrounding the Kardashians and Jenners. Anyhow here is my review on Kylie's famous matte lip kit.

I am generally a lazy person and maintaining routines has never been easy for me. I don't know if I should attribute it to bad habits, disorganization or just a personally trait but this is how I generally am. However, in year 2019, this is one area where I am working on improving myself. Being organized! Thats the goal. So point being, I am also lazy when it comes to taking care of myself. It wasn't so a few years back but I guess most of my time is now occupied by surfing the social media for no reason which leaves me with no time to accomplish anything else. 

With the influx of matte liquid lipsticks in the market, the need of a good lip exfoliator has also increased. There are definitely some stubborn lipsticks that really require an exfoliator to take off the residual. Lush lip scrub is gold in a pot when we speak about lip exfoliation. Here is my take on the product. 

So, did I mention it to you guys that I have subscribed myself to Boxy charm finally, a wish I had been harboring for over 2 years now. At last I found a resource who was willing to get it to me on monthly basis with no fuss and drama involved. I have reviewed countless subscription boxes I have had access to so far, does Boxy charm live up to the hype we keep hearing and seeing? Lets find out.

If you are a drugstore freak,  makeup enthusiast and a hoarder like me, then you must be aware that new trend edition by Essence has hit the stores. I saw them at Raja Sahib outlet and did not waste a single moment to get my fill. These limited edition items come in a limited quantity and I do not want to repeat what happened with their Miami roller ball blush (it was a bestseller and an instant sold out product). Anyways, these are my latest purchases from the new "Glitter in the air" trend edition.

It took me really long to review this one but nothing new in that. I always end up procrastinating. As I always say, better late than never, so here is my review on one of my most favorite red lipsticks, more like my favorite semi-matte liquid lipstick. 

There has been a huge vibe surrounding Hourglass cosmetics after the launch of ambient palettes and highlighters. Everyone was going crazy after those and the poor me on the other hand had not tried a single product from this brand. Finally I got my hands on deluxe sized opaque liquid lipstick coz quite frankly I was not willing to spend money on a full sized product for trial purposes. So did it convince me to opt for a full size? Read my review to find out. 

With Winters around, new trends and collections are making appearance in the stores. Essence Pakistan has also introduced its latest Winter collection for 2015. The range includes dark shades of nail colors, smokey eye pencils and kohl liners perfect for creating smokey eye effect, liquid and sheer lipsticks, eye palettes, matte blush ons, foundation and pressed powder. Every other day we read about harmful chemicals used in makeup products and how they breed diseases in humans. So many medical cases have sprung forward where the use of makeup has led to harm to human bodies. Be it in the form of allergies or resulting in surgeries. As a result more and more research is being conducted to make cosmetics chemical free and organic as much as possible. As a Muslim, we also need to ensure there are no haram products in the cosmetics we consume. There is a widespread concept that intake of haram items is not allowed in the form of eatables. Its true we do not eat make up but in any case we expose ourselves to haram ingredients by using them. For example, there are certain lipsticks we use, they contain crushed beetles of a particular kind, no matter how much we prevent, I am sure there is a certain intake of lipstick into our system by unconscious licking or biting the lips. Similarly the makeup applied onto the skin absorbs into our pores and thats how the harmful chemicals make their way into our system.

As many of you must have figured it out by now, I am crazy about subscription services. I keep on trying different subscriptions time to time. The suspense of not knowing what I would be getting is the best thing about these subscription services to me. Its like a gift to myself not knowing what the gift is going to be. How exciting!!! So for the first time, I got my hands on the very famous Ipsy glam bags. I ordered mine from Infinity. I had not ordered it earlier, she had it in stock and I just happened to buy it.
